Speaking of Blue Posted: 18 May 2010 03:48 AM PDT Look who’s back! My Indigo Bunting!! Isn’t he beautiful! First I saw bits and flashes of blue. Then I saw him! He hopped around on the top of the feeder in the rain. Last year they hung out on the thistle feeder, but this year they seem to like the big feeder. Sigh, I know they only stay a few weeks each spring, but they are my favorite birds! I’m not sure how many we have this year, because I’ve only seen one at a time. Yes, it’s that time of year.
