Here are a Few of My Charitable Donations Posted: 24 Dec 2010 08:33 AM PST When I started this blog almost five years ago, I advertised on Craig’s List for a blog consultant. Stephen Labuda of Agency 3.0 answered the call. Since then, he has evolved into much more than a blog consultant, but he has stood by me over the years, solving technical issues and giving advice. This year he gave me an unexpected gift: free blog hosting next year! So with help from the $349 I saved, I have made a number of charitable donations. They include: Boston Area Rape Crisis Center Boys and Girls Club of Dorchester (Mass.) A Far Cry (my violin teacher’s orchestra) Angell Memorial (animal rescue) Career Collaborative (helps underemployed adults) Corporate Accountability International WBUR (National Public Radio) |
