| Rewriting Leslie Nielsen’s Biography Posted: 30 Nov 2010 01:10 PM PST When Leslie Nielsen died at age 84 this week, the obituaries proclaimed that he was the guy who starred in the Naked Gun series. Sure, he was great in those movies, but Nielsen had an entire career way before Naked Gun. A lot of people are either not aware of it or don’t remember. He made dozens of films in his youth. Check out Leslie Nielsen’s impressive filmography (scroll to the bottom of the page). He started acting back in the 1950s on venerable programs like TV’s Magnavox Theatre, Philco-Goodyear Television Playhouse, and CBS Television Workshop. I’m just sayin’. |
