| Please, More Colored Lights, Gentiles! Posted: 14 Dec 2010 10:30 AM PST  I love Christmas — the lights, the charity, the good cheer, and the parties. Being Jewish, I don’t really have to participate in any holiday stuff except the fun stuff. In other words, I get a free pass on all those dysfunctional-family gatherings. Yay! But I have one small complaint: enough of the white lights already, folks! For a while, white lights were cool, discreet and oh-so-understated. Now they’re overdone and simply boring. Please, get your friends and family to break out those dusty strings of colored lights stored at the back of the attic or basement. Colored lights ARE NO LONGER TACKY! Really! Deck the halls.
