Glad We’re Not on a Flood Plain Posted: 07 Mar 2011 04:14 AM PST This is the land behind The Love Nest…after they stripped it to put in a sewer system…and did nothing to reforest the area. But we’re assured we’re not on a flood plain… You can see the creek in the far background, and this fork that comes off of it in front. Then this mess of a flooded area… This is a FORK of the creek that runs behind our house… Yep, I’m not feeling the love about the whole “not in a flood plain.” This was a heavy storm, but not in even close to the heaviest. storm. ever.  I’m a bit worried… Share this on Facebook Tweet This!
