Monday Musings for Baby Boomers – Surfin’ USA, Alaska Style Posted: 24 Jan 2011 12:43 AM PST ![]() Smile! Monday has always been a little bit of a let down, what with it being the beginning of the work week and all. So to start things out on a bright note for the week, I bring you the… Baby Boomers Monday Musings. If you think that guy riding a 30 foot wave for a few seconds at night was cool, this is even better (in my opinion). No giant waves here, just one long, long, 45 minutes and 5 miles long ride. This is three guys riding a boretide wave (a real tidal wave, not a tsunami) in Girdwood, Alaska near the Cook Inlet. The clip is not 45 minutes long, but well worth the few minutes of your time for the scenery alone.
Now, that’s my idea of Surfin’ USA. Hope that put a little smile on your face and Keep On Smilin’ You may also want to join the Baby Boomers US Forum for conversations by Baby Boomers about topics important to Baby Boomers! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
