This is why Posted: 10 Nov 2010 04:12 AM PST Yep, this is why I’m buying a new fondue pot… Someone, who would like to remain nameless left my fondue pot on the stove, on low. So I wake up in the middle of the night and smell something burning. Yep, completely charred chocolate embedded with Teflon. (and what a waste of really good chocolate, I may add!) Notice how old the fondue pot is though. Remember when the harvest gold was all the rage for kitchens, you know, like 30? years ago. My house smells horrible now. I have all the windows open to air it out. I’m thinking I’ll get a nice red one to match my kitchen. Let’s just say…*I* won’t be buying it….
