What’s Waiting for You at Home Tonight?

I saw an ad on the subway this morning that asked What’s Waiting for You at Home Tonight? It continued something like this: If it’s an abusive husband, we can help (Safelink). So I thought about this question — what’s waiting for me at home tonight — and I was grateful when I realized how much good there is:

a home that’s warm in the winter

a fully stocked pantry and refrigerator

a wonderful, warm pup

a great housemate

enough clothes

enough entertainment (books, cable TV, etc.)

a comfortable couch

wonderful neighbors

my violin

So, what’s waiting for YOU tonight?
