| Texas, Here I Come Posted: 15 Feb 2011 10:16 AM PST  The winter has been rough all around the country. In a few days I am going to visit a good friend in Fort Worth, Texas, where it’s supposed to be 60s-70s. I am looking forward to a break in the bad weather, but mostly I am excited to see my friend. She’s the first friend I made when I moved to Boston back in 1976 as a college freshman. I love to visit because when we do nothing, we have a lot of fun. When we do something, it’s a lot of fun. While there, I will see her kids, probably take a spin around the neighborhood on a bike, eat chicken-fried something, watch a DVD — who knows?
