Retiring Boomers Find 401(k) Plans Coming Up Short by E S Browning… If you are one of the many Baby Boomers who believed all the hype when the government ‘allowed’ us to contribute to a 401(k) plan for your retirement, this may serve as a wake up call for the reality that will soon be your retirement. That plan wasn’t all it was cracked up to be, you should save all you can while you still can. The nest-egg myth by Susan Jacoby… In the same vein as the previous article, there are a lot more financial worries for our future retirement. Medicare, Social Security, that 401(k) plan not to mention that house you thought was worth at least what you paid for it. The future is looking pretty bleak for quite a few of us who thought we had planned well for our retirement. Ha! I hope you found this weeks choice(s) helpful and enjoyable. What did you think?
