| Posted: 08 Sep 2010 11:45 AM PDT For those observing the Jewish holidays, Happy Rosh Hashanah! This holiday is great because it involves a bit of synagogue attendance (which I skip altogether) combined with a nice meal with friends and/or relatives. What could be better? I don’t usually host this meal, but this year I will. I made some preparations last night and will leave work a bit early to finish up. My menu: soup, roast chicken, carrots, seltzer, squash, broccoli, applesauce, wine, challah, dessert. I tried brining the chicken. I hope it comes out OK. |
