| Posted: 07 Sep 2010 09:01 AM PDT As a young cub reporter in Boston many years ago, I had the pleasure of interviewing the woman most people know as Elvira, Mistress of the Dark (aka Cassandra Peterson). I think she’s probably been on the county fair circuit for a few decades. But this month, Elvira, age 59, returns to TV with a new show, Elvira’s Movie Macabre on September 25.
