| Let’s End Anonymous Comments on the Web Posted: 02 Aug 2011 10:42 AM PDT Sometimes when I read the Boston Globe online I check out the readers’ comments beneath the stories, and I despair. So many lowlifes who write mean, sexist, racist and just plain dumb responses to the articles. As a Bostonian, these comments often embarrass me. I say we stop anonymous Web commenting. I know that I would be more careful about what I say in comments if I had to sign my name to each one. Who’s with me??? |
