| Let’s Talk Funerals Posted: 06 Jul 2011 07:08 AM PDT  I’m in a good mood today, so let’s talk death. I just read a story in the paper about a company that is now offering to bury your pet at sea. I love my dog, but that’s going overboard. Get it!? Overboard. Anyway, I’m wondering what (if any) burial plans you have for yourself. For me, I know that cremation makes the most sense, both financially and ecologically, but, being Jewish, I have to get over the anti-cremation thing. Also, the whole burning thing makes me a little nervous. I once took a tour of the crematory at Forest Hills Cemetery in my neighborhood of Jamaica Plain, Mass. It was very instructive and revealing. But it didn’t make me want to sign up right away. So, I might be going for the casket thing. And you?
