Things That Make Me Feel Old

I ran across this the other day, and boy did it make me feel OLD.

Internet Explorer was launched August 16, 1995.

Here are other smack-my-forehead moments that made me feel old recently:

  • My oldest daughter will be forty years old this month.
  • Kids are having kids – children of family and acquaintances are now having babies.
  • Kids I first met as babies are getting driver’s licenses or married or both.
  • Book  ’em Danno will be a catch phrase – again.
  • Driving the speed limit in the neighborhood.
  • Hoping the game doesn’t go extra innings because it’s past our bedtime.
  • Getting the senior discount without asking.
  • Asking for the senior discount.
  • Getting excited about the senior discount.
