How Dare My Acupuncturist Retire! Posted: 10 May 2011 06:10 AM PDT I have an amazing acupuncturist I go to every once in a while when something bothersome is happening in my body. I called yesterday to make an appointment and she answered the phone — a very unusual occurrence. We chatted for a minute and then she informed me that if I were calling to make an appointment she would not be able to help me. She’s retired from acupuncture. She’s also a nurse and she said she will keep her nursing job for another two years, and that’s it! Now, Fern is one of these eternally youthful appearing/acting people. She told me she is 64. I’d had no idea! I feel cheated. How could the world go on without this amazing acupuncturist? She recommended someone else and I have an appointment on Friday.
