The Last Hurrah of Summer

It’s September 1 and it’s a gorgeous day, but I know such days are numbered. Summer will fade into autumn. And then it’s winter. Cripes, last winter was really rough in the Boston area. Walking my dog each day became an incredible chore, with the snow and the ice and the cold. But while it’s still nice out, I am determined to:

  • keep going to outdoor events like last night’s Yappy Hour with my pup, and a county fair this weekend
  • Take long bike rides
  • And, most daring of all, to wear shorts as long into September as I can.
