…They’re Gonna Make a Big Star Outta Me

Posted: 21 Jun 2011 04:00 AM PDT

Ok guys and gals here is a chance for you to get that big break that you missed to be one of the famous faces on TV. We’ve all seen the commercials that depict people of our generation having a great old time in retirement.

Now, you have a chance to tell your story of retirement bliss to the masses.

The following is a copy of an e-mail I received that offers that opportinuty to you, the readers of Baby Boomres US.

Dear Joe and Karen,

My name is Katie Richter and I am trying to get the word out to as many Baby Boomers as I can who are retiring between the months of May and August.  Prudential Insurance is looking for men and women between the ages of 60 – 70 for a SAG National Network commercial.
I am wondering if you can help me contact boomers who read your blog?  There is good money to be made with this project.  At this point, all I need is for retirees to contact me, send a snapshot and fill out a form (attach to this email.)   After that they will take a photo of themselves on their first day of retirement (or they will recreate).  For this step, they will be compensated $200 and if this photo is chosen for the commercial they will be paid SAG Commercial rate and make residual payments from the commercial.
Below is the posting that we are sending out to potential retirees. Please feel free to email me back or call with any questions!
Also, check out my company website: www.thecaststation.com
Thank you
Katie Richter
